Simple & Meaningful Handmade Gifts
One of my favorite holiday traditions is exchanging hand made gifts with one side of our family. I love seeing the creativity of my loved ones and creating things for them in return! We have exchange everything from handmade ornaments to baking mixes, jams, and edible treats to candles and homemaking goods! Here are a few of my favorites from over the years:
-
Beeswax jar candles or taper candles wrapped in pretty paper (this is also cute to pair with thrifted candle holders and makes a lovely host or hostess gift!)
-
Homemade bath salts packaged in a test tube or other pretty glass container with a festive ribbon
-
Clay leaf catch-all dishes (This is a great one for kids, and you can make them in any shape!)
-
Chai concentrate or homemade Elderberry Syrup in a Weck jar with pretty fabric and/or a burlap ribbon (also cute to pair with handmade mugs!)
-
Homemade vanilla extract
-
Herb-infused olive oil
-
Homemade Linen Spray, Room Spray or Upholstery Spray with essential oils and Thieves Cleaner
-
Spiced Thieves Cleaner in a glass spray bottle with a pretty label and ribbon (also makes a great host or hostess gift paired with a pretty dish towel!)
What are your favorite handmade items to gift or receive? I would love to hear them!
